Behind the scenes at Magnet Expert Ltd, we’re always working on exciting projects that we can soon reveal to our customers. Today, we have a real humdinger! In recent months, we’ve been collaborating with Robot Wars’ very own competitor, Magnetar!
Magnet Expert Ltd are delighted to be supporting the Refugee Council in their efforts to educate children, who are seeking asylum in the UK.
Over recent week, children of all ages have been attending the Refugee Council’s educational sessions, where they develop Maths and English skills through animation. Our magnets from First4Magnets.com, have been used within the sessions to help with the building and illustration of the animations. They have used our Fruity Skittle Magnets, Flexible A4 Magnetic Sheets and Magnetic Gridding Tape, as you can see below.

The kick-off to the Premier League is only days away and the excitement is building among football enthusiasts. The fixtures come around thick and fast as people go through the highs and lows with their beloved team. Away from the pitch itself, fans are eagerly preparing their Fantasy Premier League teams and the Magnet Expert Ltd staff are no different! Several members of the team have drafted up their squads in the hope of reigning superior in the ‘Magnet Expert Fantasy Football League’. The best of luck to all!
Being experts in magnetics, we had to incorporate magnets into our league table. With the use of both magnetic tapes and novelty magnets, we have created an official leaderboard which will run throughout the 2017/2018 Premier League season. Take a look:

However, a new technology being developed by Seagate for the next generation of storage devices, known as ‘heat-assisted magnetic recording’ is breaking the convention. The technology is heralded as revolutionary and could significantly increase the amount of data that can be stored on a hard drive by increasing storage density.
